We do a strictly limited wholesale business. Our minimum wholesale order is $250.00. Re-orders are negotiable. Wholesale customers (with verifiable storefront operations and proper business credentials) receive a discount of as much as 50% off of our retail price. The earlier the order is placed, the better the discount.

We limit the number of wholesale customers so that we can guarantee speedy and full delivery of orders, particularly in the busy Christmas season. We accept payment for wholesale orders by Visa, Mastercard, or Discover or by Paypal. We charge the cards before shipment. Because we make the ornaments, as well as filling wholesale orders, we cannot extend payment terms. We keep our prices as low as possible, and can do that only by receiving payment up front. We do not personalize for wholesale orders, but will teach you how, and will sell you personalizing supplies if you ask.

All wholesale orders are shipped FOB Acton, MA. We ship UPS or U.S. Post Office, at our discretion. Shipping charge, including insurance, is 5% of the wholesale order price to a maximum of $30.00. Shipping charges may change without notice. We do this only if our costs of shipping rise.

Please allow ample time for delivery. We can often turn an order in a week or less, but we can't guarantee that. Remember, these are all handmade ornaments, so place your orders as early as possible.

FUNDRAISING

Your non-profit group may be interested in selling Smudges ornaments at your local craft fair, tournament, regatta, etc. We ask that you contact us as early as possible to insure that we can do this. We can supply you with samples and order forms, and you can sell the ornaments and receive 20% of the Smudges price. Another alternative is to order ornaments at a 30% discount and sell them outright at your event. Finally, you can buy ornaments at the wholesale price and sell them at your price, or our retail price, which is the biggest discount to you. However, we have a minimum of 50 pieces for fundraising this way.

All fundraising groups are responsible for collecting the money themselves. Payment must be made to Smudges, by Mastercard, Visa, Discover, money order, or organization's check before we ship your order. Fundraising orders will not be held for more than two weeks awaiting payment, unless prior arrangements are made.
